Sap Functional Consultant Basis

We are seeking an experienced SAP BASIS consultant to lead the successful implementation of SAP BASIS version 6.7. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in this module's functionalities and project management skills in compliance-heavy environments. Fluency in English is mandatory for effective communication across global teams and stakeholders.

In this role, you will:

1. Manage and support SAP BASIS activities, including system installations, upgrades, and performance tuning;
2. Collaborate with project teams to estimate project timelines and ensure timely delivery of BASIS-related tasks;
3. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to SAP systems, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations;
4. Provide technical expertise for development projects, including system enhancements and integrations;
5. Work closely with developers to communicate requirements and translate business needs into functional specifications;
6. Evaluate business requirements and identify necessary changes to the SAP template, translating them into technical designs;
7. Ensure adherence to change management procedures and internal guidelines throughout the project lifecycle;
8. Collaborate with team members to identify solutions for complex problems and promote continuous improvement in services;
9. Participate in 24/7 on-call support rotation and take ownership of tasks from initiation to completion.

Required Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, or a related field;
2. 7+ years of experience in SAP projects, focusing on SAP BASIS implementations;
3. Knowledge of upgraded version 6.7;
4. Hands-on experience with system configuration, troubleshooting, and performance optimization;
5. Fluent in English (both written and spoken); additional languages are a plus;
6. Excellent communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with SAP DRC.
