Sap Activate Project Manager - English Speaking

We are looking for an experienced SAP Activate Project Manager to lead tax reform implementation projects for a major agriculture client in Brazil. This role requires strong expertise in SAP project management, particularly in tax compliance and regulatory transitions. The selected candidate will oversee the transition to Brazil’s new tax framework, ensuring full compliance while optimizing business operations through SAP solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Project Leadership : Manage SAP Activate projects focused on implementing Brazil’s new tax model, replacing existing taxes such as PIS, Cofins, ICMS, and ISS with CBS and IBS.
• Regulatory Compliance : Ensure project deliverables align with new tax regulations, including the shift from an origin-based to a destination-based tax system and VAT split payments.
• SAP Implementation : Lead the deployment of SAP solutions like SAP Document and Reporting Compliance (SAP DRC) to support tax adaptation.
• Stakeholder Coordination : Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to align project objectives with business and regulatory requirements.
• Risk Management : Identify potential risks associated with the tax transition and implement mitigation strategies to minimize business disruption.
• Training & Support : Provide training and support to end-users on new SAP tax compliance processes.
• Agribusiness Expertise : Understand the unique tax implications for Brazil’s agriculture sector, including small-scale and large agribusiness operations.

Requirements

• Education : Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Experience : Minimum of 5 years in SAP project management, ideally with experience in tax reform initiatives.
• SAP Expertise : Deep knowledge of SAP Activate methodology and SAP solutions for tax compliance.
• Tax Knowledge : Familiarity with Brazil’s CBS and IBS tax reforms and their impact on the agriculture industry.
• Communication Skills : Strong interpersonal and communication skills for managing diverse stakeholders.
• Analytical Skills : Ability to assess complex tax and compliance challenges and develop effective solutions.

Preferred Qualifications

• Certifications : SAP Activate certification or other relevant project management credentials.
• Languages : Fluency in Portuguese and English.
• Industry Experience : Prior experience in agribusiness or related sectors.
