Jobtailor seeks an experienced Environmental Project Manager to coordinate wastewater treatment projects in São Paulo. You will lead multidisciplinary teams, manage client relationships, and ensure quality across project development.

Responsibilities include organizing schedules and budgets, developing feasibility studies, and producing technical reports, design specifications, and operations manuals. Travel to coastal locations may be required.

Qualificações

• Requires a Bachelor’s in Environmental, Sanitary, Chemical, or Civil Engineering.
• Requires a Postgraduate degree in Environmental/Sanitation Engineering or related field.
• Intermediate English preferred.
• Experience in sanitation projects and team coordination.

• Conduct feasibility studies for new technologies to optimize Opex and Capex.

• Coordinate and oversee project development
• Coordinate and manage multidisciplinary teams, ensuring efficiency and quality
• Maintain effective client relationships and review solutions
• Organize and monitor project schedules and financial timelines, continuously evaluating results
• Ensure the office vision is clear and that everyone feels engaged and aligned with team objectives
• Make decisions regarding the alternatives to be pursued
• Support the preparation of Conceptual Studies, Alternative Analyses for defining Treatment Processes and Equipment, and Technical and Economic Feasibility Studies
• Analyze, design, diagnose, and support projects for new Wastewater Treatment Plants, including identifying problems and presenting engineering solutions with calculations and design specifications
• Develop Technical Reports, Design Specifications, and Operations Manuals
• Participate in technical site visits, diagnosing issues and proposing improvements for Wastewater Treatment Plants
• Conduct feasibility studies for new technologies and/or products aimed at optimizing the balance between Opex and Capex

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental, Sanitary, Chemical, or Civil Engineering
• Postgraduate degree in Environmental Engineering, Sanitation Engineering, or a related field
• Relevant specialization or courses in Sanitation, Leadership, and/or People Management
• Intermediate English proficiency preferred
• Previous experience preparing sanitation projects or working in similar fields, with an emphasis on team coordination
• Availability to work 40 hours per week
• Knowledge of industry regulations related to water and wastewater treatment, as well as compliance requirements and legal best practices
• Ability to perform complex technical analyses, with a focus on project feasibility
• Ability to lead, coordinate, and motivate multidisciplinary teams
• Critical thinking to implement technological innovations and ensure continuous project improvement
• Commitment to quality, compliance, and sustainable results
• Must reside in Greater São Paulo or on the São Paulo coast and be available to travel to coastal locations when necessary
