Position Mission
Do you have experience in team leadership and strategic vision to drive complex pre-sales processes? ABB is looking for a Sales Support Manager to lead the pre-sales and budgeting area of the Process Automation Energy Industries (PAEN) division. Working with automation, electrical, and digital solutions for various industrial sectors, this professional will play a key role in building competitive proposals aligned with customer needs. Responsibilities

  • Lead the Sales Support area, coordinating the preparation and internalization of proposals for complex projects.
  • Ensure compliance with internal processes, guaranteeing technical and commercial quality in offers.
  • Develop and train the team, aligning the proposed solutions with the strategic growth objectives of the Energy Industries division.
  • Manage the direct team and shared resources, distributing the workload efficiently.
  • Promote integration with areas such as engineering, sales, and other departments, ensuring accuracy and competitiveness in proposals.
  • Implement continuous improvement initiatives, focusing on digitization, automation, and process optimization.
  • Monitor performance indicators, approvals, and risk analyses, ensuring project compliance and profitability.


Your Background
  • Experience in people management and continuous process improvement.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, preferably with an emphasis on Automation.
  • Experience in complex automation, electrical, or digital solutions projects for industry.
  • Advanced conversational English.


Nice to Have
  • Experience in projects in the O&G, power generation, biofuels, and other industrial sectors.
  • Previous experience in multinational companies or environments with strong integration between technical and commercial areas.
  • Mastery of technical and commercial proposal preparation processes.
  • Knowledge of industrial automation systems, electrical engineering, and digital solutions.
  • Knowledge of taxation and tax matters.
  • Knowledge of risk analysis and compliance in commercial proposals.
  • Experience in regulated environments or environments with specific technical requirements (e.g., oil and gas, energy, pulp and paper).
