Join Twilio as our next Senior Sales Specialist, Messaging Overlay.

About The Job

Twilio is looking for a Senior Sales Specialist to join our newly created Messaging Overlay team! You will have a quota and will be responsible for a selected number of strategic accounts, including some of Twilio’s largest customers. Your focus will be on driving commercial and operational success by leading and partnering with internal stakeholders to define strategies and execute plans to grow your accounts profitably.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and drive strategies to achieve optimized profitability within your account territory.
  • Prioritize opportunities to maximize profitability.
  • Own pricing strategy and execution, working with routing specialists to maximize volume and account health.
  • Provide regular performance reports on sales pipeline, account status, and team performance, using data to optimize strategies.
  • Cultivate relationships with internal partners and key stakeholders to drive efficiencies and quality improvements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure messaging solutions meet client needs and support customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Utilize deep understanding of the messaging ecosystem to support success with high-value clients.
  • Represent Twilio and our values at industry events.
Qualifications

Required
  • 5+ years in sales, preferably in the international telecom industry.
  • Highly analytical with proven ability to analyze large data sets to inform decisions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to engage and influence stakeholders.
  • Ability to lead meetings and exceed critical metrics.
  • Bias for action, testing and iterating on ideas with data-driven decision making.
  • Comfort working with technical, operational, and cross-functional teams.
  • Strong self-drive and negotiation skills.
Desired
  • Established relationships with key regional accounts.
  • Understanding of the SMS supplier ecosystem.
  • Experience in Software, SaaS, CPaas, or PaaS.
  • Experience creating and managing financial pricing models.

Remote, Brazil
Travel

Approximately 10% travel anticipated for in-person connections.
