The ideal candidate will have a strong sales background, particularly in blending technologies, and will be fluent in English, with Spanish as a plus. This position reports to

Regional Business Blending Line Manager

Your role and responsibilities

Overview: Responsible for the sale of blending systems within the Pulp & Paper and Painting markets, acting as a technical reference in the area, clarifying doubts about the company's portfolio, supporting sales team members, providing solutions for specific customer needs and problems, as well as identifying and developing sales opportunities, aiming to achieve the objectives of the Energy Industries unit (PAEN). Responsibilities: Sell and technically guide other team members (Technicians, Analysts) on products and systems, focusing on volume, mix, and profitability goals for the Business Unit. Ensure a positive customer experience throughout the sales process by establishing and maintaining effective relationships with customers to understand their needs, as well as promoting customer understanding of complete products and service offerings, keeping them aligned to provide a solution. Develop sales plans using company tools, through regular status reviews and proposing recovery plans in case of potential failures. Create added value for the customer and ABB and ensure successful transaction, contract, and proposal outcomes using effective sales techniques, providing details according to ABB's offer and strategy (delivery time, payments, and general terms and conditions). Ensure efficient marketing activities and value proposition to customers. Identify and drive the development of new opportunities for the Paper and Pulp and Painting markets, ensuring the sharing of knowhow and cross-collaboration.

Qualifications for the role

  • Degree: A bachelor's degree is necessary, preferably in Engineering.
  • Mandatory: Previous sales experience with Pulp & Paper and/or Painting segment.
  • Mandatory: Previous Knowledge of blending equipments and technologies.
  • Additional: Previous experience selling MES manufacturing execution systems.
  • Language: Fluent or Advanced English. Spanish is additional.
