What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Establish and maintain relationships with strategic accounts, focusing on ruminant producers and regional feed companies
- Prospect and qualify new sales leads, driving revenue and market share
- Collaborate with product management and technical services teams to meet customer needs
- Monitor and report on feed ingredient pricing and industry trends in the assigned region
- Maintain a well-developed pipeline of prospects and ensure customer service needs are efficiently met
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree or higher with 7+ years of experience in animal nutrition (ruminants)
- Proven work experience as an Account Manager or Technical Sales Manager
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to build relationships with key customers
- Superior verbal and written communication, time management, and organizational skills
- Willingness to travel 40-60% of the time as required
