Job description
The Sales Manager will be primarily responsible for delivering regional sales support in Brazil, as well as the broader Latin American region and globally as needed. This role will focus on strategic growth and achieving financial targets by coordinating all opportunities with capabilities and schedules. This includes developing new business opportunities, maintaining customer contacts and growing the business in line with growth plans, in the Oil and Gas sector and Renewable Energy.

Responsibilities:
  • Works closely with the Sales and Tendering teams in Houston, Houston Operations, and Sales Director, Americas Offshore to support the strategies and business objectives for both regional and product line responsibilities of the role.
  • Develops and expands client base by securing new businesses in Services, Rental and Product Supply markets while maintaining and supporting existing accounts.
  • Works with the Houston Tendering team to ensure proper proposals regarding schedules, scopes, commercial, contractual and technical input is aligned to the company’s and customer expectations. To deliver order winning tenders that increase sales and profitability.
  • Produces reports accurately and timely as needed or instructed in compliance with Company or client requests.
  • Responsible for the development of budgets and provides regular and accurate forecast updates.
  • Responsible for the development and delivery of monthly reports and key performance indicators.
  • Works closely with the Sales Director to ensure customer engagement is transparent while using the interface to establish new business opportunities.
  • Complies with the company’s health and safety policy. Ensuring that all work completed is carried out with safety as a priority.
  • Supports the company’s efforts to maintain ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and OSHA 18001 accreditations. Ensure that staff are informed about these standards and adhere to them in their daily operations.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
Job requirements
• Must be proficient in speaking, reading and writing in both English and Portuguese.
• Degree in Engineering, Business Management or relevant experience in an engineering field; experience in the Oil & Gas and/or Offshore Renewables industry is preferred but not required.
• Significant Business to Business Sales and Business development experience gained in technical market/sector is preferred.
• Excellent computer proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM.
• Knowledge of products and services including but not limited to IWOCS and Reeler systems, Subsea Umbilicals, Subsea Jumpers, Offshore Power Cables for the developing Brazilian Offshore Wind Market would set you apart.
