What you'll do

We're looking for a Sales Lead to spearhead our growth in Curitiba. In this role, you'll be instrumental in expanding Clara's footprint by identifying new business opportunities, nurturing client relationships, and driving revenue growth. Your contributions will directly impact our mission to revolutionize spend management for companies across Latin America.

Key Responsibilities:

Drive Sales Growth: Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand Clara's client base in Curitiba.

Leverage Local Network: Use your existing relationships and deep understanding of Curitiba's business ecosystem—especially among decision-makers in finance, operations, and procurement—to open doors and generate qualified leads.

Manage Sales Pipeline: Oversee the entire sales cycle, from lead generation to closing deals, ensuring a steady flow of prospects and conversions.

Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.

Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Work closely with marketing, product, and customer success teams to align strategies and deliver exceptional customer experiences.

Monitor Performance Metrics: Track key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess sales performance and implement improvements as needed.

Who you are

We’re looking for someone who meets the minimum requirements to be considered for the role. The preferred qualifications are a bonus, not a requirement.

Must haves:

Proven Sales Experience: Demonstrated success in sales roles, with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets.

Strong Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication abilities in both Portuguese and English.

Self-Motivated: Ability to work independently, take initiative, and drive results without constant supervision.

Local Expertise and Network: Based in Curitiba, with deep knowledge of the local business environment and a strong, relevant network—especially among finance leaders, operations managers, and key influencers in growing companies.

Nice to haves:

Industry Experience: Background in the financial industry and/or SaaS sales.

Professional Network: Established connections within the financial sector in Curitiba.

Language Skills: Basic proficiency in Spanish or a desire to learn it.

Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze data using spreadsheets, SQL, or Python.

This role can be based out of a city where Clara does not have a substantial team presence. We will support you to make sure you have all the tools necessary to do your job, but you'll be expected to operate with high Ownership and in a more independent way. We encourage you to seek opportunities to spend time at one of the core offices, and depending on your team you might be invited and required to participate in company Offsites.

Claridians in a hybrid mode split their time between working from the office, talking to or visiting customers, or working from home. This hits a balance between bringing people together for in-person collaboration and learning from each other, while supporting flexibility about how to do this in a way that makes sense for each individual and team.

We don't enforce a minimum number of days for most roles, but you're expected to spend time at the office organically, and be at the office most days during your ramp-up or when required by your leader.
