Due to tremendous growth of the company, we are searching for a hard-working, driven candidate to join our successful Sales team and develop relationships and drive business in our Sports accounts. This includes sports teams, conferences, leagues, digital media companies, broadcast rights holders, and other related market segments in the United States.

Job Description

LiveU is the leading provider of end-to-end live delivery solutions to the broadcast and online markets. We aim to expand our presence within the Sports market and seek a Sales Manager to lead this expansion. Qualified candidates should have proven experience and contacts with sports entities in the U.S., with the ability to sell solution-based products and identify new business opportunities. The role covers the West Coast region of the U.S.

Location: West Coast (remote)

Sales duties include but are not limited to:

  1. Utilizing consultative selling techniques to build and drive sales, establishing long-term relationships.
  2. Preparing bids, specifications, and presentations.
  3. Serving as a solution-based consultant, including sales calls and presentations.
  4. Creating account action plans and setting revenue goals.
  5. Understanding business aspects including distribution channels, sales mechanics, market needs, trade shows, and strategies.
  6. Developing a pipeline of opportunities to support sales goals.

Requirements

  • 10 years’ experience selling solutions in the U.S. sports production market with strong executive contacts.
  • Deep understanding of sports teams, leagues, and conferences, including their operations.
  • Proven sales achievements and experience in developing new business with technology solutions.
  • Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
  • Technical capability to demonstrate complex solutions and discuss features in detail.
  • Bachelor’s Degree.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong relationship-building and customer service skills.
  • Organized and detail-oriented.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM tools like Salesforce.
  • Experience with wireless networks, video solutions, mobile solutions, live production, satellite/fiber/IP video transmission, or cloud production is advantageous.
