Job Mission

The Sales Coach collaborates with the Commercial Director, Boutique Director, and HR Business Partner to support and achieve commercial objectives, enhance client engagement, and uphold Maison service standards. The role involves developing the boutique team’s skills through on-floor coaching to improve guest experiences, focusing on welcoming, hospitality, selling and cross-selling techniques, product knowledge, storytelling, and client relationship cultivation.

Coaching is a collaborative, solution-focused, and systematic process where the coach facilitates performance enhancement through communication skills like active listening and questioning, unlocking individual potential for maximum performance with support and feedback.

Main Accountabilities
  1. Coaching to Drive Business Performance
    • Observe guest experiences and provide real-time coaching to improve sales, service, and client experience, aligning with KPIs such as conversion rates, transaction value, and retention.
    • Develop targeted coaching plans based on performance data, supporting team development and sales techniques.
    • Support daily communication and learning through boutique morning briefs and post-visit reports.
    • Summarize weekly progress and coordinate with leadership to address performance gaps.
    • Use data metrics to measure coaching impact and adjust strategies accordingly.
  2. Collaboration and Cross-functional Partnerships
    • Partner with leadership to analyze coaching impact, revise plans, and identify training needs.
    • Assist in integrating new hires and aligning team performance with company values and strategies.
    • Communicate training needs and support regional program implementation.
  3. Training & Facilitation
    • Facilitate in-boutique trainings on selling skills, product knowledge, and luxury service.
    • Lead training sessions for new openings and support ongoing learning initiatives.
    • Promote a learning culture with platforms like MyLearning and share best practices.
    • Stay informed on market trends and client expectations to continuously improve training content.
Position Qualifications
  • Strong critical thinking, business acumen, and relationship-building skills.
  • 3-5 years of coaching experience in a sales environment, focusing on sales skills, client development, and leadership.
  • Excellent presentation skills and ability to influence content creation.
  • Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook; management and learning experience preferred.
  • Luxury retail background is a plus.
  • Fluent in English and Portuguese; Spanish is a plus.
  • College degree preferred.
  • Willing to travel 60-70%; spend 80-90% time in-boutique.
