Playtech Managed Services in Brazil seeks a Risk Desk Manager to lead day-to-day risk operations in São Paulo. You will act as the Brazil risk operations representative, coordinating with partners, teams, and analysts to drive performance and continuous improvement.

You will guide workforce planning, implement risk controls, and support new tools and automation initiatives while ensuring regulatory compliance and data-driven decision making.

Qualificações

• Must be fluent in English.
• Native Brazilian Portuguese speaker.
• 4 years of experience in a similar role.
• Excellent knowledge of risk and payments field.
• Strong decision-making and communication skills.
• Team player with leadership abilities.

Responsabilidades

• Lead day-to-day delivery of Risk Operations in Brazil, ensuring high service standards and operational efficiency.
• Serve as the main Risk Operations representative for Brazil, building trusted relationships with stakeholders, partners, and client teams.
• Collaborate with partners, Team Leaders, SMEs, and Analysts to drive performance and continuous improvement.
• Drive operational readiness and support strategic initiatives.
• Support workforce planning and scaling to meet changing business demands.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, increase efficiencies, and introduce automation while maintaining risk compliance.
• Partner with Compliance, Product, Data, and Customer Operations to deliver risk solutions.
• Use data and performance metrics to identify issues and drive quality improvements.
• Oversee implementation and enhancement of risk controls and procedures.
• Act as escalation point for complex investigations and high-risk cases.
• Support rollout of new tools and automation initiatives.
• Ensure operational documentation and training materials are current.

• Lead the day-to-day delivery of Risk Operations in Brazil, ensuring high service standards, operational efficiency, and strong execution across all areas of responsibility.
• Serve as the main Risk Operations representative for Brazil, building trusted relationships with stakeholders, partners, and client teams.
• Work closely with partners, Team Leaders, SMEs, and Analysts to drive performance, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Drive operational readiness and support strategic initiatives.
• Support workforce planning and operational scaling efforts, ensuring the operation remains prepared for changing business demands.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, increase efficiencies, and introduce automation while maintaining a strong focus on risk management and regulatory compliance.
• Partner closely with Compliance, Product, Data, and Customer Operations teams to deliver practical and effective risk solutions.
• Use data, trends, and performance metrics to identify opportunities, resolve issues proactively, and continuously improve quality and operational outcomes.
• Oversee the implementation and ongoing enhancement of risk controls, procedures, and operational frameworks.
• Act as a key point of escalation for complex investigations, high-risk cases, and operational challenges, ensuring clear decision-making and stakeholder alignment.
• Support the rollout of new tools, technologies, and automation initiatives, helping the operation adapt and evolve as the business grows.
• Ensure operational documentation, knowledge resources, and training materials remain accurate, accessible, and fit for purpose.
• Contribute to hiring, onboarding, succession planning, and talent development initiatives to support the long-term success of the operation.
• Champion change and continuous improvement, helping teams successfully adapt to new processes, requirements, and ways of working.
• Foster a culture of ownership, collaboration, and customer-focused risk management across the organization.
