Overview

Employer: Outdoor Living Products Distribution. This opportunity describes a chemical sales role focused on the assigned territory with emphasis on market share growth and product knowledge within pool products and chemicals.

What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
  • Manage and direct chemical sales efforts within the assigned territory to achieve market share gains
  • Identify target accounts and serve as the lead account manager for all chemical targets
  • Train sales staff on chemical product knowledge and support branch business growth
  • Travel throughout the territory to solicit orders from regular and prospective customers
  • Conduct presentations to customers on chemical products and programs and provide training support
What is Required (Qualifications)
  • 3+ years of experience developing relationships with chemical customers
  • Solid knowledge of pool products and chemicals
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills with a proven ability to convert customers to new product lines
  • Holds a valid driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record (no more than 2 violations within 3 years)
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
  • Familiarity with technology tools such as AMP or a similar customer management system
  • Bilingual skills are a plus
