World Business Lenders (WBL) provides short-term, real estate collateralized commercial loans to small and medium-sized businesses across the United States that lack access to traditional funding. WBL manages its own and third-party loan portfolios, focusing on non-performing loan pools and REO.

WBL is a U.S.-based company with a fully remote workforce. This is a remote contract/consultant position, with working hours from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm Eastern Time, Monday through Friday. Excellent command of English, both oral and written, is required. Resumes must be submitted in English.

Essential Functions:

• Assist in preparing financial analyses and forecasts, ensuring accuracy and consistency
• Support maintenance and updating of financial models, including integrating historical data into forecasts
• Collaborate with Automation Analysts to develop data visualizations and reports using Power BI or Tableau
• Review financial data and reports, identifying discrepancies and areas for improvement
• Participate in financial projects, providing data analysis and insights

Requirements:

• Fluency in English with excellent communication skills
• 3-6 years of experience as an Associate in investment banking, focusing on M&A and financial forecasting
• Strong knowledge of financial statements, investment modeling, M&A, project finance, debt structuring, and accounting
• Experience with US GAAP and IFRS
• Expertise in Excel financial modeling and PowerPoint
• Experience in financial modeling and forecasting
• Background in financial/banking sectors or similar
• Proficiency in Microsoft 365 tools
• Excellent communication and mentoring skills
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Experience analyzing business units for financial forecasting
• Own a personal laptop or desktop (company does not supply equipment)
