Responsabilidades

  • Develop regional sourcing strategies for LATAM including LSI, Field Service, and Mechanical Installation.

Job Description Summary

Negotiate with dedicated providers according to specific policies. Develop regional sourcing and procurement strategic across service sourcing LSI, Field Service, Mechanical Installation which represent approximately $100M in spend at GE Healthcare. Negotiate with suppliers to achieve optimal contractual terms while ensuring internal stakeholder satisfaction. Leverage industry knowledge and market trends to inform strategic decisions and drive continuous improvement in sourcing practices. Build relationships with critical business stakeholders to ensure current and future business requirement met.

The Service Sourcing Leader will be responsible for developing and executing regional sourcing strategies across Service Sourcing categories, including LSI, Field Service, Mechanical Installation, services, accessories, and related third-party support. This role will focus on optimizing cost, quality, delivery, compliance, and supplier performance while supporting business growth, service operations, customer needs, and public bid strategies across LATAM. The leader will work closely with regional stakeholders, global sourcing teams, operations, quality, finance, legal, compliance, and commercial teams to ensure sourcing strategies are aligned with business priorities, regulatory requirements, and customer commitments. The role requires strong strategic sourcing experience, practical problem-solving skills, supplier management discipline, and the ability to influence stakeholders across multiple countries, cultures, and business priorities.

What You’ll Do
  • Support Sales, Operations, and Commercial teams with sourcing strategies for public bids, customer opportunities, urgent business needs, and service delivery commitments.
  • Develop and execute regional sourcing and category strategies for Service Sourcing across Latin America, including local source item (LSI), Field Service, Mechanical Installation, services, accessories, and third-party service labor.
  • Lead supplier selection, negotiation, contracting, onboarding, and supplier transition activities across the region.
  • Drive cost reduction initiatives through competitive bidding, market analysis, supplier negotiations, value engineering, demand management, and process simplification.
  • Manage supplier relationships and performance, including quality, delivery, cost, lead time, compliance, and service responsiveness.
  • Identify supplier performance gaps and lead corrective action plans with clear ownership, timeline, evidence, and follow-up discipline.
  • Coordinate with global sourcing leaders to ensure Latin America strategies are aligned with global category direction while addressing local market and customer requirements.
  • Lead cross-functional collaboration with Operations, Quality, Finance, Legal, Compliance, Engineering, Commercial, and Business teams across the region.
  • Conduct market research, supplier benchmarking, risk assessment, and competitive analysis to support sourcing decisions and supplier strategy.
  • Identify and mitigate sourcing and supply chain risks, including financial, regulatory, operational, geopolitical, logistical, and supplier dependency risks.
  • Ensure sourcing execution is compliant with GE HealthCare policies, quality systems, regulatory requirements, and applicable local laws.
  • Support supplier audits, qualification, documentation, and compliance reviews when required by business or regulatory needs.
  • Monitor, report, and present sourcing performance, savings, supplier risks, key initiatives, and action plans to regional and global leadership.
  • Drive continuous improvement, standardization, simplification, and digitalization opportunities within the LATAM Service Sourcing process.
What You Need To Have
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with the ability to use data to support recommendations.
  • Significant experience in sourcing, procurement, supplier management, or strategic sourcing, preferably in services, indirect procurement, or healthcare-related categories.
  • Strong negotiation, supplier management, and contract management skills.
  • Proven ability to drive cost savings, supplier performance improvement, risk mitigation, and business impact.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and influence stakeholders across different functions, countries, and priorities.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate clearly with suppliers, internal stakeholders, and leadership.
  • Fluent in English and Spanish.
Desired Characteristics
  • Experience in healthcare, medical devices, life sciences, or highly regulated environments.
  • Experience supporting public bids, service operations, supplier qualification, or customer-critical sourcing initiatives.
  • Strong business understanding, ownership mindset, and ability to operate with urgency when customer or operational impact is at risk.
  • Expertise in purchased services such as education and application services, engineering field services, maintenance, mechanical installation, logistics, medical device accessories, chillers, RF cages, civil work services, and related service support.
  • Experience with sourcing tools, ERP systems, supplier onboarding platforms, workflow tools, and reporting dashboards.
  • Lean, Six Sigma, or process improvement experience.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, work under pressure, and deliver results in a complex regional environment.
  • Ability to build trust-based relationships with suppliers, stakeholders, and global partners.
  • Willingness to travel up to 10% as needed.
