Mission of the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Sales professional for the Medical Packaging Segment with background in medical device packaging or sterile barrier systems. This role drives the development of our presence in the medical device manufacturing sector by combining technical sales expertise with regulatory awareness. The ideal candidate supports customers in selecting compliant packaging materials for sterile medical devices and healthcare products, and is comfortable discussing sterilization compatibility, packaging validation, and applicable regulatory requirements.

Key Accountabilities:

Business Development

• Identify and develop new opportunities with medical device manufacturers and medical packaging converters
• Build and maintain relationships with engineering, QA, and regulatory teams at customer organizations
• Support OEM customers and distributors across assigned regions

Technical Sales Support

• Advise customers on material selection for sterile barrier systems
• Explain performance characteristics of packaging materials relevant to medical applications
• Provide technical documentation and product specifications to support customer decisions
• Assist customers with packaging validation considerations and trial evaluations

Regulatory & Compliance Support

• Support customer discussions around regulatory requirements for the medical packaging segment
• Provide guidance on applicable standards including ISO 11607, EN 868, and EU MDR (Medical Device Regulation)

Market Development

• Monitor trends in medical device packaging materials and sterile barrier systems
• Provide market feedback and customer insights to internal technical and product development teams

  Technical Knowledge and Skills:

  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in medical device manufacturing, medical packaging, sterile barrier systems, or flexible packaging for healthcare products
  • Strong understanding of sterile medical packaging requirements, market trends, and customer dynamics
  • Established connections with key industry participants including QA, regulatory affairs, and packaging engineering teams

  Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of ISO 11607 validation requirements
  • Experience with sterilization processes (ETO, gamma, steam, plasma, etc.)
  • Technical background in materials science, polymers, or packaging engineering
  • Experience in flexible packaging or nonwoven materials

  Soft Skills:

  • Combines technical credibility with commercial awareness
  • Ability to communicate effectively with both engineering teams and purchasing departments
  • Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management skills
