S&P Global Ratings in São Paulo, Brazil is seeking an Operations Internship candidate who will support the end-to-end ratings process for low complexity jobs. You will collaborate with Commercial, Data, Analytical, Compliance, and Technology teams to drive improvements and learn through development plans.

We require an advanced student in economics, business administration, accounting, actusry or engineering with a 1-year estagio (graduating December 2027) and intermediate English.

Qualificações

  • Advanced student of Economics, Business Administration, Accounting, Actuary, or Engineering.
  • Available to have an est%C3%A1gio for 1 year (to graduate December 2027).
  • Comprehensive English communication skills (Intermediate level) required.
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Able to work with multiple business partners in a global environment.
  • Willingness to take initiative and drive tasks to completion.

Responsabilidades

About The Role

The Team: Ratings Operations is a critical role in enabling the effective and efficient operations of global Ratings processes and playing a key part in driving end to end process simplification that meets customer needs. As a strategic partner to multiple roles across the organization (Commercial, Data, Analytical, Compliance, Technology, etc.), the Operations Specialist uses their business knowledge and operational acumen to continuously improve operational processes and align to business value.

The Impact: The role is one with global impact and coverage across the practice supported and across the broader data, technology and operations community. This role works closely with Commercial, Technology and Data teams to connect transformation initiatives with analytical and other end users. The role also works with Analytical Managers and their teams to ensure a high level of operational efficiency, problem solving, and innovation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Complete key steps of the end-to-end ratings process for low complexity jobs for one practice independently with pace and quality to meet customer needs.
  • Support team priorities (job processing, continuous improvement) with pace and quality to meet customer needs.
  • Show proficient understanding of the end-to-end ratings process, knowledge of SOPs, operating manuals, standard work
  • Guide analysts and other business partners through the ratings process and support change management of improvement efforts
  • Participate in problem-solving and process improvement efforts to live the ROS mission and achieve the ROS vision
  • Understand key metrics to support the management and improvement efforts of ROS
  • Understand the role of Ratings Operations and its alignment with other functions within S&P. Connect key partners to solve business problems, participate in improvement efforts to meet customer needs
  • Have a learning mindset and actively advance skills leveraging a development plan and the ROS skills matrix
  • Support team members and work as a team to live the ROS mission and achieve the ROS vision
Basic Qualifications
What We’re Looking For:
  • Working towards an advanced student of: Economics, Business Administration, Accounting, Actuary, Engineering and related careers.
  • Available to have an “estágio” for 1 years (to be graduating in December 2027)
  • Must be able to prioritize, multitask and stay poised in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment while also ensuring the highest quality output
  • Comprehensive English communication skills (Intermediate level reading, speaking, and writing) are required
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills with a particular focus on customer service are required
  • Must have the ability to work effectively and collaboratively with a variety of business partners in a team-oriented, global environment
  • A strong ability to guide and influence colleagues and stakeholders is required
  • Must be an adaptable self-starter who wants to take the initiative and drive tasks to completion with strong execution
Additional Preferred Qualifications And Experience
  • Previous work experience will be considered a plus
  • Programming knowledge is desirable

All employees are required to work from the office a minimum of 2 days per week.

We require all candidates who reach the final stage of our interview process to attend at least one in-person interview, which is ordinarily at your nearest S&P Global Ratings office. This must be completed before we can proceed to an offer.
