Quality Analyst III [mid-level]
Responsibilities:
- Participate in test planning to enable the team to perform tests effectively.
- Plan tests for each product version.
- Execute critical tests across various layers of the solution's architecture.
- Analyze resources prior to development to identify key impact points on architecture and product.
- Collaborate with the development team to clarify faults and plan corrections.
- Coordinate with the documentation and QA teams to share information about the product and testing activities.
Qualifications:
Technical Skills:
- Extensive experience in manual testing and test automation, including functional, regression, integration, and acceptance testing.
- Knowledge of automation tools such as Selenium, Robot, Cypress, JUnit, or similar.
- Proficiency in scripting languages like PHP, C, C++, C#, Go, Swift, Python, and frameworks such as React or Golang.
- Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, etc.
- Basic understanding of cybersecurity principles including encryption, access control, threat protection, and compliance standards like ISO 27001, GDPR.
- Experience with testing in cloud environments (AWS, Azure) and security considerations in cloud computing.
- Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
- Knowledge of test management tools like JIRA, TestRail, or Cucumber.
Previous Experience:
- At least 1 year in QA, focusing on cybersecurity projects or related fields.
- Experience working in agile teams and methodologies.
- Participation in cybersecurity projects is a plus.
- Experience with UAT testing.
- Intermediate English proficiency.
Certifications (Desirable):
- QA certifications such as ISTQB or CSTE.
Additional Differentials:
- Experience with testing tools like Burp Suite, OWASP ZAP, K6, Postman, Newman, Katalon.
- Cybersecurity certifications such as CEH, CompTIA Security+.
- Knowledge of security testing practices including penetration testing and vulnerability analysis.
- CTFL certification: Agile Tester.
- Proficiency in English is a plus.
