About the Role:

Client is seeking a skilled QA Engineer with experience in PHP, Vue.js, and Laravel, to join our digital marketing firm. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background and experience in productized service development. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who can ensure our products meet the highest quality standards.

Requirements:

• Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment, demonstrating self-drive, integrity, and accountability, even when faced with ambiguity.
• Overlap with EST timezone is needed.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in QA roles, with specific experience in PHP, Vue.js, and Laravel.
• Proficiency in software testing methodologies, tools, and processes. Strong knowledge of PHP, Vue.js, and Laravel.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities. Experience with data analysis and statistical tools.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• High attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality products.
• ISTQB Certified Tester or equivalent QA certifications.
• Experience with automated testing tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress).
• Experience in the automotive industry or digital marketing sector.

Key Responsibilities:

• Requirement Analysis: Collaborate with stakeholders to review and analyze business requirements, ensuring they are complete and testable.
• Risk Management: Identify and analyze potential project risks. Develop and implement mitigation strategies.
• Test Planning and Strategy: Develop comprehensive test plans and strategies that outline the scope, approach, resources, and schedule of testing activities.
• Test Case Development: Create and maintain detailed test cases and scripts for functional, performance, regression, and usability testing.
• Test Execution: Conduct manual and automated testing to identify defects and ensure the product meets quality standards. Perform exploratory, usability, and user acceptance testing. Perform PHP Unit Tests, and identify and record results.
• Defect Tracking and Management: Log defects, track their resolution, and verify fixes. Provide detailed defect reports to the development team.
• Quality Documentation: Maintain comprehensive test documentation, including test plans, test cases, defect reports, and test results.
• Continuous Improvement: Analyze user feedback and behavior to identify potential issues and areas for improvement. Utilize tools like Google Analytics and heat mapping for insights.
• Collaboration: Work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure quality objectives and requirements are aligned.
