Scope of Responsibilities
Lead the design and implementation of comprehensive Software Test Plans and strategies, ensuring optimal test coverage while balancing efficiency and cost.
Continuously improve and evolve testing frameworks, processes, and tools to drive higher product quality and proactively address quality gaps through root cause analysis and lessons learned.
Oversee the analysis, documentation, and tracking of complex software defects. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to prioritize, reproduce, and validate fixes, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality software.
Mentor and guide QA engineers, promoting best practices in testing and quality assurance throughout the development lifecycle.
Act as a key stakeholder in release planning, risk assessment, and quality gate reviews.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s or higher degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related technical fields.
Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in software testing, with at least 2 years in a QA leadership or senior role.
Expert-level understanding of the software testing lifecycle, advanced testing techniques, test automation frameworks, and test management tools.
Proficiency in at least one programming or scripting language for test automation and tooling.
Proven track record of driving quality improvements across multiple projects.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, with the ability to influence stakeholders and clearly articulate quality standards.
Preferred Qualifications
Master’s or PhD in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline focused on quality practices.
Strong experience with Android platform and mobile device testing, including automation on real devices and emulators.
Hands-on experience leading QA efforts in Agile software development environments.
Experience designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines with integrated test automation.
