We are seeking a highly motivated QA Engineer with a strong focus on test automation to join our development team. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with excellent communication skills and a passion for delivering high-quality software through both manual and automated testing. This role involves approximately 80% automation and 20% manual testing, with a goal of moving toward fully automated test coverage.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain end-to-end automated tests for both new and existing features using tools such as Rest Assured and Playwright.
• Develop, expand, and optimize the existing automation test suite across projects.
• Perform manual testing as needed, particularly during early feature development or for edge-case validations.
• Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.
• Collaborate closely with product managers, developers, stakeholders, and users to understand requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
• Review requirements, specifications, and design documents to provide timely, insightful QA feedback.
• Participate in Scrum meetings and communicate progress, blockers, and test results proactively.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes, tools, and strategies.
• Mentor junior QA team members and share automation best practices.
• Coordinate and prioritize testing activities in alignment with release plans and deadlines.

Required Qualifications

• 2–5+ years of QA experience, with a strong emphasis on test automation.
• Solid understanding of API testing frameworks and techniques.
• Hands-on experience with modern automation tools such as Rest Assured, Playwright, or similar.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a proactive mindset.
• Proven ability to work independently in a dynamic, agile environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with performance testing tools and methodologies.
• Familiarity with SDK testing and integration testing at the platform level.
• Experience working in CI/CD pipelines and DevOps environments.
• Exposure to cloud services and containerized test environments.
