Your Role

As a Senior QA Automation Engineer, you will be integral in ensuring the quality of our products by defining and implementing testing strategies across the product development lifecycle. You will work closely with both the QA and DevOps teams to develop solutions that ensure both automated and manual testing efficiency.

• Strategy Development: Define and establish quality standards and testing strategies to ensure product reliability and performance.
• Team Leadership: Provide direction, mentoring, and coaching to the QA team, enhancing their skills in both automated and manual testing.
• Collaboration: Work closely with the DevOps team to optimize test solutions for different platforms.
• Quality Assurance: Oversee all QA activities, including test planning, execution, defect tracking, and root cause analysis.
• Optimization: Support capacity planning and performance optimization for testing activities.

Who You Are

• Experience: Minimum 3 years in automated testing environments.
• Test Automation Expertise: Strong background in test automation, framework design, and development using tools like Selenium, Appium, or Cypress for front-end and JMeter, K6, or Rest-assured for back-end.
• Software Development: Solid understanding of software development lifecycle within agile methodologies.
• Programming Skills: Proficiency in Java and experience with scripting for API testing in tools like Postman and version control with Git.
• Analytical Skills: Ability to perform complex SQL queries for database insights and log analysis in DevOps pipelines or tools like Datadog.
• Communication: Experience collaborating directly with technical leaders, project managers, and business analysts. Fluent in English (B2 level or higher).

Desirable Qualifications

• ISTQB Certification.
• Knowledge of performance testing and configuring cases in Taurus/Blazemeter.
• Ability to configure dashboards in Grafana or Kibana for displaying automated test results.
