We are seeking a highly skilled QA Analyst to support the quality delivery of the company’s internal and external applications. This role will require close collaboration with the development team and global users to ensure functionality, performance, and reliability across legacy and modern systems. The QA Analyst will also serve as a subject matter expert, providing insights, testing strategy, and technical expertise to support robust and scalable solution delivery. This position is ideal for a self-starter with a strong background in manual testing and test automation, particularly in complex, high-impact environments such as logistics or supply chain systems. Familiarity with legacy systems, the ability to work with Cypress + JavaScript automation, and comfort in remote work communication tools are essential.

Employment Type: B2B Contract

Location: Fully Remote (Required availability in US Eastern Time Zone)

Start Date: ASAP

Schedule: Minimum 80% overlap with US Eastern Time; 100% overlap as needed

Language Requirement: Fluent English

Key Responsibilities

• Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) on the company’s current and future software applications.
• Perform manual testing, especially of complex and legacy systems, while contributing to the evolution of automated testing suites.
• Design, document, and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and regression suites.
• Conduct integration, end-to-end, regression, and user acceptance testing (UAT) across multiple concurrent projects.
• Develop and maintain automated test cases using Cypress + JavaScript, including integration with CI/CD pipelines.
• Test and validate REST APIs, including payload inspection and data integrity validation.
• Support legacy system testing: understand existing business processes and enhance legacy test coverage.
• Write and execute complex SQL queries to verify backend data and perform database validation.
• Engage in requirements analysis and provide test strategy input during project planning and grooming sessions.
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and end-users to ensure high-quality delivery aligned with business goals.
• Leverage AI tools and modern frameworks to enhance efficiency in test case design and automation.
• Maintain and improve QA documentation and ensure traceability across releases.
• Champion QA best practices within an Agile/Kanban development environment.
• Provide timely support to internal and external users, enhancing the company’s service reputation and trust.
  
  
  

Requirements

• 7+ years of diverse experience in software quality assurance, testing, or related technical fields.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in manual and functional testing.
• 3+ years of experience in automated testing, preferably using Cypress + JavaScript.
• Experience testing complex systems such as logistics, supply chain, or enterprise resource planning (ERP) solutions.
• Demonstrated experience working with legacy systems and understanding associated business logic quickly.
• Proficiency in writing and validating SQL queries for data verification.
• Strong understanding of REST API testing and response validation.
• Experience working with Kanban or Agile methodologies and managing testing across concurrent projects.
• Fluency in English with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently in a remote and fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
• High adaptability, problem-solving skills, and willingness to experiment with new QA approaches or tools.

• Familiarity with AI-assisted testing tools or frameworks.
• Experience in logistics domain projects or similar legacy-modern hybrid systems.
