About the Role.

We seek aPython Developerto join a growing platform revolutionizing travel and house-sitting experiences. You’ll primarily focus on building and maintaining backend services using Python, supporting the delivery of seamless and reliable user experiences. Familiarity with frontend technologies, particularlyReact, is a plus, but the main focus will be backend development.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a remote-first environment while contributing to a platform used by travelers and homeowners worldwide.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, maintain, and optimize backend services and RESTful APIs usingPython
• Collaborate with frontend, design, and product teams to build scalable and reliable systems
• Work with relational and/or non-relationaldatabases(SQL, NoSQL)
• Ensure the backend architecture is efficient, secure, and scalable
• Occasionally support or collaborate with frontend tasks if familiar withReact
• Participate in Agile workflows, code reviews, and technical discussions

Must-Have:

• 3+ yearsof professional experience withPython development
• Solid understanding ofRESTful APIsand backend service design
• Experience working withdatabases(SQL and/or NoSQL)
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to code quality
• Comfortable working remotely and collaborating with distributed teams
• Based inBrazil

Nice-to-Have:

• Experience or familiarity withReact
• Willingness to occasionally contribute tofrontend developmenttasks
• Familiarity with containerization (e.g., Docker) is a plus
• Exposure to cloud environments (AWS, GCP, Azure)
