SBM Offshore is seeking a Project Subcontracts Engineer in Brazil to lead subcontract relations, ensuring contract compliance and timely execution. You will coordinate with project teams and contractors to support tendering, negotiation, and award of subcontracts.

The role emphasizes maintaining contract documentation, managing risks, and driving continuous improvement in subcontracting processes while reporting progress to project management.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Law, or Supply Chain.
• Experience in subcontract management within Oil & Gas.
• Certification in Contract Management (CPCM, CFCM) preferred.

Responsabilidades

• You are the key point of contact, facilitating clear communication between project teams and subcontractors to ensure compliance with contractual obligations.
• You support the tendering, evaluation, negotiation, and awarding of subcontracts, ensuring alignment with project requirements.
• You ensure all contract documentation, approvals, and records are accurately maintained.
• You support risk management by identifying, analyzing, and mitigating potential subcontract-related risks.
• You contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, suggesting enhancements to subcontracting processes and strategies.
• You provide regular updates and reports to project management on subcontractor performance and progress.

Purpose

• The Project Subcontracts Engineer manage & coordinate subcontractor relationships, ensuring the successful execution of project subcontracts within budget, schedule, and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• You are the key point of contact, facilitating clear communication between project teams and subcontractors to ensure compliance with contractual obligations.

Education

• At least a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Law, Supply Chain Management, or a related field

Experience

• Experience in subcontract management within the Oil & Gas industry, with strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Proficient understanding and knowledge of subcontracting principles contract law, and industry practices.
• Certification in Contract Management (e.g., CPCM, CFCM) is preferred.
