Thales Brazil in São Bernardo do Campo is seeking a Project Shipping Analyst to manage item delivery and all transport flows according to project needs, collaborating with Project Managers, Logistics, Procurement, and Operations.

You will identify transportation requirements, prepare regulatory documents, monitor progress, develop dashboards and KPIs, and support related logistics activities, including handling equipment and field operations.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Production Engineering or equivalent.
• Advanced level in Office suite, especially Excel.
• Basic Knowledge in MS Project.
• Fluent in English.
• Knowledge of Incoterms, Back-to-Back operations, Export Process in line with Brazilian Customs requirements.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare and carry out transport operations and collect contractual documents.
• Collect import/export documents for delivery.
• Prepare regulatory documents for transport.

• Develop and keep up to date dashboards and KPIs.
• Check invoicing and manage disputes and action plans.
• Identify opportunities for improvement and propose actions; monitor progress.

Project Shipping Analyst

Hybrid model in our São Bernardo do Campo unit.

Position Summary

Reporting directly to the Head of PMO, and dotted line to Supply Chain Manager, the Project Shipping Analyst’s main mission, as part of project team leading by Project Manager, is to manage the delivery of items to the designated client, as well as all transport flows according to project needs, working in cooperation with Project Managers, Logistics, Procurement, Industry and the Operations Department. As well as to contribute to the operational activities of the Project Management Office (PMO).

Project Shipping Analyst identifies transportation needs in terms of characteristics and modes, packaging, handling, and documents necessary to accompany the shipment (contractual documents, export control documents, and others), plans and controls the preparation and execution of shipments, and ensures the necessary follow-up (track & trace).

Project Shipping Analyst optimizes transportation costs and manages the resources allocated to this activity. He/She ensures compliance of the transport activity with applicable laws and regulations.

A secondary mission is to provide support to Project Managers in the service activity related to logistics / handling topics, for instance handling equipment, crane, truck, other necessary for field activities.

Key Areas of Responsibility

• Identifying and planning, according to production flows and project needs, all transportation requirements to be fulfilled
• Acting as an interface with Projects, the Operations Department, and the forwarding agent
• Preparing and carrying out all operations required for transport, obtaining the package of contractual documents and collecting contractual documents for delivery
• Collecting import/export documents for delivery
• Preparing regulatory documents for transport
• Ensure that deliveries are carried out
• Monitor their progress
• Develop and keep up to date the dashboard and KPIs
• Check invoicing
• Manage disputes and associated action plans
• Identify opportunities for improvement
• Propose improvement actions
• Monitor the assigned actions

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Production Engineering or equivalent
• Advanced level in Office suite, especially Excel
• Basic Knowledge in MS Project
• Fluent in English
• Knowledge of Incoterms, Back-to-Back operations, Export Process in line with Brazilian Customs requirements
