Join our team

As a Project Quality Engineer, you will report dotted line to the Regional Quality Manager and solid line Product Line Quality Manager and will be responsible for ensuring effective application of the Baker Hughes Quality Management System (QMS) in the project and supplier environment to ensure that technical requirements are met. The successful candidate will be responsible for Quality activities on all project matters within their respective Centre of Excellence and direct interaction with customer and supplier for Problem solving, quality reporting and improvement.

As a Project Quality Engineer, you will be responsible for:

• Performance in Engineering Procure Construct tendering and project execution phases.
• Verify contractual and regulatory requirements are fulfilled and have maximized customer satisfaction and profitability.
• Establish and execute project quality plan, witness-points, quality records for compliance with contract.
• Ensure customer quality requirement, Feedback of Experience (FOE)/Lessons Learned are taken into account in the tender proposal to avoid deviation and to continually improve execution processes.
• Advises Functional managers or other Functions regarding approaches, processes and procedures in the own field.
• Handles communication with direct colleagues and the business about approach and methods for solving complex problems
• Leads as a project leader of medium sized projects or is a major contributor to bigger projects.

Fuel your passion

To be successful in this role you will:

• Have a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering or Petroleum Engineering.
• Advanced English is required for the position.
• Knowledge in Local Brazilian customer requirements for project quality process, inputs and outputs, fabrication and installation of subsea equipment including XT, Manifolds and Tooling.
• Experience in Quality audits to support customer project assessments.
• Knowledge in product quality inspection / documentation analysis.
• Experience with customer interface.
