Bluelight, a leading software consultancy, is seeking an experienced project manager to lead complex software development programs, aligning delivery with fixed deadlines and cross-team collaboration.

The role requires managing scope, budget, resourcing, and vendor dependencies across multiple streams, with strong stakeholder communication and ability to work with distributed engineering teams.

You will overlap US business hours and contribute to growing nearshore LATAM delivery capabilities.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience managing software development projects.
• Experience delivering against fixed external deadlines with critical-path and buffer management.
• Experience managing a client dependency register with required-by dates, owners, and escalation paths.
• Experience with formal risk registers and change-control processes.

Responsibilities

• Manage scope, budget, resourcing, and timelines across multiple concurrent workstreams.
• Coordinate third-party vendor dependencies (contracts, credentials, integration timelines).
• Lead Agile/Scrum or Kanban teams and ensure milestone/gate-based acceptance criteria.
• Provide client-facing status reporting and translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.

Requirements

• 5+ years professional experience managing software development projects
• Experience delivering against fixed, immovable external deadlines (e.g., product launches, trade shows) with critical-path and buffer management
• Experience managing a client dependency register with required-by dates, owners, and escalation paths
• Experience with formal risk registers and change-control processes
• Experience managing project scope, budget, resourcing, and timelines across multiple concurrent workstreams
• Experience coordinating third-party vendor dependencies (contracts, credentials, integration timelines)
• Experience running Agile/Scrum or Kanban teams
• Experience with milestone/gate-based acceptance criteria and client-facing status reporting
• Experience with project management and tracking tools (Jira, Asana, or similar)
• Strong stakeholder management skills, including experience translating technical concepts for non-technical clients and executives
• Experience identifying, tracking, and mitigating project risks and dependencies
• Substantial background working with large, complex systems and distributed engineering teams
• Ability to overlap US business hours
• Bachelor's degree required
