Bluelight is seeking an experienced project manager to lead software development initiatives for diverse clients. You will oversee scope, budgets, and multiple concurrent workstreams while coordinating with distributed teams across the US and LATAM.

The role requires strong communication with clients and an emphasis on delivering high-quality results in a fast-paced environment. Ideal candidates bring 5+ years of PM experience, Agile/Scrum or Kanban expertise, and a track record of stakeholder

• Experience delivering against fixed external deadlines with critical-path management.
• Experience managing client dependency registers with dates, owners, escalation paths.
• Experience with formal risk registers and change-control processes.
• Experience overseeing scope, budget, resourcing, and timelines across multiple streams.
• Experience coordinating third-party vendor dependencies and contracts.
• Experience running Agile/Scrum or Kanban teams.
• Experience with milestone/gate-based acceptance criteria and client-facing status reporting.
• Experience using Jira, Asana, or similar project tracking tools.
• Strong stakeholder management and translating technical concepts for non-technical clients.
• Experience identifying, tracking, and mitigating project risks and dependencies.
• Background in large, complex systems and distributed engineering teams.
• Ability to overlap US business hours.
• Extreme ownership and accountability for deliverables.

Requirements

• 5+ years professional experience managing software development projects
• Experience delivering against fixed, immovable external deadlines (e.g., product launches, trade shows) with critical-path and buffer management
• Experience managing a client dependency register with required-by dates, owners, and escalation paths
• Experience with formal risk registers and change-control processes
• Experience managing project scope, budget, resourcing, and timelines across multiple concurrent workstreams
• Experience coordinating third-party vendor dependencies (contracts, credentials, integration timelines)
• Experience running Agile/Scrum or Kanban teams
• Experience with milestone/gate-based acceptance criteria and client-facing status reporting
• Experience with project management and tracking tools (Jira, Asana, or similar)
• Strong stakeholder management skills, including experience translating technical concepts for non-technical clients and executives
• Experience identifying, tracking, and mitigating project risks and dependencies
• Substantial background working with large, complex systems and distributed engineering teams
• Ability to overlap US business hours
