Octave is seeking a Project Execution Solution Consultant, Presales, to join its growing presales team. You will lead value-based discovery, design solutions, configure software, and deliver demonstrations across Octave’s project execution portfolio, translating customer challenges into compelling value stories.

Travel approximately 20–40% to customer sites. Collaborate with Sales, Services, and Product teams to develop responses to RFIs/RFPs and support a handoff to delivery.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field is highly desired.
• Understanding of primary processes related to materials, construction, and completions management.
• Experience in solution delivery strategies including on-premises and SaaS deployments.

Octave’s is seeking a Solution Consultant to join its growing presales team. Working closely with Sales, this role will support customer engagements throughout the sales cycle for Octave’s project execution portfolio, including Loop Core (Smart Materials), Loop Material Readiness (Jovix), OnSite Construction Planning (Smart Construction), Visualise Max (iConstruct), and OnSite Completions (Smart Completions). The Solution Consultant (SC) provides solution expertise to prospects and customers, leading value‑based discovery, solution design, configuration, and demonstrations. The SC translates customer challenges into solution strategies and compelling value stories tailored to specific industries and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Facilitate value-based discovery sessions to understand customer processes, challenges, desired outcomes, and decision criteria.
• Deliver engaging, story-driven demonstrations of materials, construction, and completions management solutions that connect capabilities to customer challenges, demonstrate business value, and support desired business outcomes.
• Configure software and prepare demonstration materials incorporating service offerings, where appropriate.
• Become a trusted adviser to customers and prospects by understanding their project execution processes and helping them apply Octave solutions to achieve their business goals.
• Lead presentations that reinforce value for audiences at various levels, including executives and business users.
• Maintain knowledge of market trends, competitors, and the broader Octave portfolio to address customer questions and identify opportunities to expand the solution footprint.
• Plan and deliver proofs of concept with clearly defined scope, technical success criteria, business outcomes, and agreed evaluation measures.
• Collaborate with Octave’s proposal and cross-functional teams to develop accurate, compelling responses to RFIs, RFPs, and other customer requirements.
• Remain current on new product releases and maintain demonstration environments as required.
• Participate in trade shows, user conferences, and sales seminars as required.
• Proactively leverage AI tools to improve productivity, demonstration quality, customer engagement, and knowledge sharing across the Solution Consulting team.
• Use AI tools responsibly, protect customer and company confidential information, and validate AI-generated content for accuracy, relevance, and appropriate use.
• Help build the Solution Consulting community through teamwork, development of relevant datasets, compelling presentation materials, and the sharing of industry knowledge.
• Communicate customer feedback, emerging requirements, competitive insights, and observed product gaps to Product and other internal stakeholders.

Education / Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field is highly desired.
• Understanding of the primary processes related to materials, construction, and completions management.
• A minimum of five years of experience in activities related to engineering projects.
• Knowledge of solution delivery strategies, including on-premises and SaaS deployments, and the high-level benefits of each.
• Ability to collaborate across Sales, Services, and Product teams and support an effective presales‑to‑services handoff.
• Ability to articulate integration capabilities, interoperability, and typical data flows.
• Ability to travel to customer and prospect sites as required, approximately 20–40%, for discovery sessions, solution presentations, workshops, and conferences.

Preferred

• Background working with Octave’s project execution solutions, including Loop Core, Loop Material Readiness, OnSite Construction Planning, Visualise Max, and OnSite Completions.
• Experience in technical sales, solution consulting, consulting services, or enterprise software implementation.
• Experience presenting to audiences of various sizes and at various levels within an organization.
• Familiarity with REST APIs, data mapping, integration patterns, databases, programming or scripting concepts, and enterprise system interoperability.
• Understanding of cloud technology and security.
• Proficiency in English and Spanish.
