Program Manager, Marketplace

Amazon is seeking a motivated candidate to develop innovative solutions and manage our transportation network compounded by 3P carriers. As a Transportation Specialist, you will have to:

1. Manage, analyze and improve performance metrics;
2. Receive sales forecast and transportation projects to understand any adjustments in first mile chain;
3. Support 3P operations daily, identify improvement opportunities, and manage business improvements;
4. Partner with internal and external stakeholders to understand upstream and downstream process or technology dependencies critical to successful execution of program goals;
5. Continuously seek to improve processes and unblock bottlenecks;
6. Maintain and update all relevant process documentation and communicate to ensure compliance;
7. Communication with external customers (Carriers, Vendors/Suppliers) and internal customers;
8. Generate and analyze reports;
9. Work closely with 3P to solve daily operational issues;
10. Define network support as Transit Times, Rate Cards, Operational Cost and Performance;
11. Support the team in documents written to ensure that all transportation flows are clear;
12. Lead and/or support the team in expansion projects for programs related to Speed and Process Improvement.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain, business, engineering, finance or related technical or quantitative field;
- Knowledge of Microsoft Excel at an advanced level, including: pivot tables, macros, index/match, vlookup, VBA, data links, etc.;
- Knowledge of software development lifecycle, including design, development, test, build, deployment processes and timelines;
- Speak, write, and read fluently in English;
- Program or project management experience;
- Experience in requirement gathering and ability to write clear and detailed requirement documents;
- Advanced data analysis skills; the ability to extract and synthesize data in order to make data-backed business decisions;
- Experience in Python.
