This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Profissional Tech Lead Harness Engineering /.NET - Sênior based in Brazil.

As a Senior Tech Lead, you will lead the technical direction of a squad focused on modernizing legacy systems and building an AI-enabled engineering workflow for a highly regulated financial domain. You will combine software architecture, hands‑on engineering, technical leadership, and governance to deliver secure, scalable, and auditable solutions. The role centers on designing .NET microservices, defining robust integration patterns, and establishing strong CI/CD and quality gates. You will also architect an agentic engineering harness spanning discovery, development, testing, review, documentation, and post‑merge activities. Working closely with engineering, product, QA, Security, Infrastructure, Architecture, Legal, and Compliance, you will translate complex technical decisions into clear business outcomes. This is an opportunity to shape both the technology architecture and the engineering methodology used to modernize a critical regulatory platform.

Accountabilities:

• Define and evolve the .NET microservices architecture, including bounded contexts, API contracts, versioning, consistency, idempotency, and asynchronous communication patterns.
• Analyze legacy systems, develop incremental modernization strategies, and protect the regulatory domain from unnecessary coupling.
• Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines incorporating linting, compilation, automated testing, code coverage, static analysis, security checks, architecture validation, and merge policies.
• Build and evolve an agentic engineering harness covering the complete development lifecycle, from discovery and refinement through specification, architecture, implementation, testing, review, documentation, changelogs, and post‑merge activities.
• Define, together with Product, QA, and Engineering, the operating contract for each AI agent, including triggers, context, expected artifacts, validation ownership, and failure‑handling behavior.
• Ensure specifications, ADRs, progress records, decisions, checklists, and documentation are version‑controlled, traceable, and auditable.
• Operate AI models through Amazon Bedrock while implementing IAM controls, guardrails, PII protection, retention policies, audit trails, and data‑residency requirements.
• Establish observability practices using structured logging, metrics, distributed tracing, correlation, SLIs/SLOs, dashboards, and actionable alerts.
• Conduct code reviews, pair with developers and QA, promote responsible use of AI agents, and convert recurring failures into permanent engineering and knowledge‑base rules.
• Serve as a technical interface with Security, Infrastructure, Architecture, Legal, and Compliance stakeholders.
• Support technical estimation, risk management, scope decisions, and communication of technical impacts to technical and non‑technical audiences.
• Lead technical handover activities and ensure the resulting architecture, engineering pipeline, and operating methodology can be independently maintained by the client.

Requirements

• Deep professional experience with C#, .NET, and ASP.NET Core, including software design, dependency injection, async/await, performance, resilience, and API versioning.
• Strong SQL expertise, including data modeling, indexing, execution‑plan analysis, and query optimization.
• Proven experience designing and operating production‑grade microservices with asynchronous integration, idempotency, retries, circuit breakers, dead‑letter queues, and message reprocessing.
• Hands‑on experience with Kafka, RabbitMQ, Amazon SQS/SNS, or an equivalent messaging technology.
• Experience with Angular sufficient to design components, consume APIs, understand application state, and review front‑end code.
• Proven ability to create CI/CD pipelines and establish quality and security gates capable of blocking merges when requirements are not met.
• Practical AWS experience, including strong familiarity with or the ability to work effectively with Amazon Bedrock, IAM, CloudTrail, and data‑control mechanisms.
• Real‑world experience implementing AI agents within software development workflows, including versioned instructions, tools, events, quality signals, and correction loops; prompt engineering or isolated proof‑of‑concept experience alone is not sufficient.
• Strong observability experience with OpenTelemetry, Datadog, Grafana, Application Insights, or equivalent technologies.
• Demonstrated technical leadership experience, including squad leadership, mentoring, code reviews, and communication with non‑technical stakeholders.
• Knowledge of Terraform, AWS CDK, Docker, ECS, or EKS is a plus.
• Experience with DDD, CQRS, event sourcing, and event‑driven architecture is desirable.
• Familiarity with LGPD, auditing, access segregation, and technology environments in regulated industries such as banking, insurance, or healthcare is an advantage.
• Experience with legacy modernization approaches such as the Strangler Pattern and Anti‑Corruption Layer is a plus.
• Familiarity with GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, GitLab CI, Harness, or equivalent CI/CD platforms is desirable.
