Jobgether seeks a Senior .NET Developer in Brazil to design, build, and maintain robust backend services and APIs using C#, .NET Framework/Core, and SQL Server. You will work with SOAP/REST interfaces, ensure test coverage, and contribute to CI/CD in a diverse, multinational team across Brazil, Colombia, the UK and the USA.

You will mentor peers, communicate in English, and help shape engineering practices with a focus on quality, performance and scalable solutions.

Qualificações

• Production-level backend development with .NET Framework and .NET Core.
• Strong C#, ADO.NET and SQL Server knowledge including design and performance.
• Experience designing and integrating SOAP and RESTful services.
• XML serialization/deserialization and data exchange formats.
• Knowledge of software design patterns and maintainable architecture.
• Advanced English for cross‑country collaboration.
• Ownership and proactive problem‑solving in fast-paced env.
• Clear communication across teams and cultures.

As a Senior .NET Developer, you will play a key role in building and integrating complex backend software solutions within a highly collaborative environment. You will design, develop, and maintain reliable services and APIs while ensuring high standards of performance, quality, and scalability. Working with a multicultural team distributed across Brazil, Colombia, the UK, and the USA, you will contribute to projects where technology, innovation, and transformation are central to the work. The role combines hands‑on engineering with opportunities to influence technical practices and support the growth of other developers. You will communicate regularly in English and collaborate across technical and business contexts. Accountabilities

• Design, develop, and maintain robust backend services using C#, .NET Framework, .NET Core, ADO.NET, and SQL Server, ensuring solutions meet functional, performance, and quality expectations.
• Implement, evolve, and maintain SOAP and REST APIs, following appropriate design, integration, versioning, and development best practices.
• Ensure service reliability through comprehensive unit and integration testing, troubleshooting, debugging, and root‑cause analysis.
• Design and support integrations between different systems and services, applying appropriate software architecture patterns and engineering best practices.
• Participate in code reviews, providing constructive technical feedback and helping maintain consistent development standards across the team.
• Mentor and support junior developers, sharing technical knowledge and contributing to a culture of continuous improvement.
• Contribute to CI/CD workflows and development practices that improve delivery efficiency, automation, reliability, and overall engineering quality.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends, identifying opportunities to improve existing solutions and engineering practices.

Requirements

• Strong professional experience developing production systems with .NET Framework and .NET Core, with a solid understanding of backend development principles.
• Strong knowledge of C#, ADO.NET, and SQL Server, including database design, optimization, and performance tuning.
• Hands‑on experience designing and integrating SOAP and RESTful services, with a strong understanding of API development practices.
• Proficiency in XML serialization and deserialization and experience working with data exchange and integration formats.
• Strong understanding of software design patterns, development best practices, and maintainable application architecture.
• Advanced English proficiency, with the ability to communicate effectively with technical and non‑technical stakeholders in a distributed, multicultural environment.
• Strong ownership and proactive problem‑solving skills, with a mindset focused on continuous improvement and delivering high‑quality results.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across different teams, cultures, and levels of technical expertise.
• Adaptability and resilience when working with ambiguity, evolving requirements, and fast‑paced delivery environments.
• Experience with cloud platforms, particularly Azure, is a plus.
• Familiarity with specification‑driven development and agentic approaches to software development is desirable.
• Previous experience working with Agile methodologies is an advantage.
