Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and highly organized
Production Manager to oversee all aspects of film and video production operations. This role is crucial in ensuring that projects are executed smoothly, on time, and within budget. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in film production, proven leadership skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate, and supervise all phases of production from pre-production through post. Working closely with the Line Producer.
- Develop and manage budgets, production schedules, and call sheets.
- Source crew, equipment, locations, and vendors as needed for each project.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols, union regulations (if applicable), and production standards.
- Act as the main point of contact between creative teams, clients, and production crew.
- Resolve any production-related issues quickly and effectively.
- Oversee daily operations on set and ensure smooth workflow.
- Track and report on production expenses, approvals, and progress to executive leadership.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in film, television, or commercial production management.
- Strong knowledge of production workflows, logistics, budgeting, and scheduling.
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to lead cross-functional teams.
- Proficient in production management software and tools.
- Comfortable working long hours, including evenings and weekends, based on production needs.
- Must be detail-oriented, calm under pressure, and solution-focused.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with union and non-union crews.
- Degree in Film Production, Media, or related field is a plus.
- Familiarity with post-production processes is beneficial.
