Claire Joster is recruiting a Product Owner (m/f) for a client in the energy sector.

The role involves turning business needs into actionable user stories and technical requirements, ensuring high-quality products that deliver real value to clients.

Functions

• Collaborate closely with Engineering teams to develop products aligned with user expectations and business objectives;
• Gather and prioritize requirements with stakeholders;
• Translate product and commercial needs into functional and technical requirements;
• Write clear user stories and acceptance criteria;
• Provide precise requirements to support efficient engineering development;
• Facilitate backlog refinement and sprint planning, maintaining an up-to-date backlog;
• Adapt the backlog to evolving needs, balancing commercial and technical aspects, and inform stakeholders;
• Manage product dependencies across teams;
• Work within Scrum methodologies.

Requirements

Key qualifications:

• Degree in Science, Engineering, or similar;
• 3+ years of experience as a Product Owner or similar role;
• Experience working with firmware development teams;
• Ability to translate business needs into user stories and requirements;
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills;
• Strong problem-solving, organizational, and analytical skills;
• Independent and self-motivated;
• Proven learning and growth mindset;
• Proactive attitude;
• Team-oriented spirit;
• Motivated to achieve goals in a fast-paced environment;
• Fluent in English, written and spoken.

Nice to Have:

• Experience in the electricity or energy industry, understanding of the electric grid and emerging technologies;
• Understanding of business operations and collaboration across Product, Engineering, Sales, and Customer Success teams;
• Experience with AI-driven process optimization;
• Experience with data science or machine learning teams;
• CSPO Certification.
