Google Cloud is seeking a Product Marketing Manager for Developer Programs to drive GDP growth, shape messaging, and lead cross-functional go-to-market initiatives across regions, events, campaigns, and digital platforms.
You will collaborate with Sales, legal, product, and marketing teams to articulate product value for developers, including GDP Premium tier, while staying ahead of industry trends and fostering a scrappy, entrepreneurial culture in a fast-moving environment.
Experience driving progress, solving problems, and mentoring more junior team members; deeper expertise and applied knowledge within relevant area.
Please submit your resume in English - we can only consider applications submitted in this language.
Whether you're on a consumer product (like Gmail, Search, Maps, Chrome, Android) or a business product (Google Ads, AdSense, Google Marketing Platform, Analytics), you take part in a complete marketing experience as you lead every facet of the product's journey. From determining positioning, naming, competitive analysis, feature prioritization and external communications, you help shape the product and help it grow a consumer base. This means you work with a cross-functional team across Sales, corporate communications, legal, webmasters, product development, engineering and more. In this role, you'll be involved with product marketing strategy from beginning to end.
As part of the Product Marketing team for Developer Programs at Google Cloud, you’ll be responsible for growing the population of Google Developer Program (GDP) members, including subscribers to the program’s paid Premiumtier.
You’ll be responsible for key aspects of go-to-market, contributing to messaging and positioning, and orchestrating marketing execution across regions, events, campaigns, online assets, growth marketing, and field enablement.
Your work will solidify for developers why joining GDP should be an essential part of their journey with Google, and core to their growth as technologists. You will synthesize complex product capabilities for audiences both familiar and new to Google tools (such as how GDP benefits for Firebase and Gemini can be used to build a gen AI-enabled application).
You will also require the development of strong working relationships and interactions with Google Cloud and cross-Google product and marketing teams, serving as a trusted resource on all aspects of GDP for internal teams coming to understand how integrating with GDP accelerates adoption of their services.
Know the user. Know the magic. Connect the two. At its core, marketing at Google starts with technology and ends with the user, bringing both together in unconventional ways. Our job is to demonstrate how Google's products solve the world's problems--from the everyday to the epic, from the mundane to the monumental. And we approach marketing in a way that only Google can--changing the game, redefining the medium, making the user the priority, and ultimately, letting the technology speak for itself.
