Scania Brazil is seeking a mid-level Product Engineer in the PCO area within LRBQ (Quality Engineering - Buses) to analyze cost optimization opportunities for bus chassis products. You will develop technical proposals, define requirements for prototypes and tests, coordinate test executions, and assess design options through technical and economic analyses, ECOs and 3DEXPERIENCE updates.

Qualificações

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering or related fields.
Proficient with CAD software, preferably CATIA V5.
Desirable ENOVIA knowledge.
Experience with heavy-vehicle projects: bus or truck chassis.
Advanced English for daily contact with headquarters.
Proficient with MS Office.

Responsabilidades

Act as Product Engineer in the PCO area within LRBQ (Quality Engineering - Buses).
Analyze cost optimization opportunities for bus chassis products.
Develop technical proposals and define requirements for prototypes and functional/performance tests.
Request and follow up on the execution of tests.
Identify design impacts and alternatives through studies, calculations, and analyses.
Document product changes and update ECOs, PDs, FRAS and 3DEXPERIENCE.
Make updated information available to Scania engineering teams worldwide.
Prepare Engineering Change Orders (ECOs).
Work with Purchasing, Suppliers, Production and Commercial teams on product development and continuous improvement.
Follow Scania standards (STDs, PDs and TBs) to ensure product quality and compliance.
Create 3D and 2D part and assembly drawings.

Requirements

Advanced English for daily contact with headquarters
Proficient with the full Microsoft Office suite
Knowledge of product structure (OAS) is desirable
Availability for occasional travel
