Team Profile

The Sao Paulo Equities product control team supports various Equity businesses, including Dsp Flow, Dsp Finance, Exotics, and Index desks. The team ensures the accuracy of the firm's books and records, proper classification, and timely recording of transactions. It collaborates with multiple groups and supports Brazil regulatory requirements. The team comprises 5 product controllers and 2 interns, working closely with teams in Baltimore and New York.

Qualifications
  • Ensure control processes are executed effectively and reviewed regularly for improvements.
  • Oversee daily, weekly, and monthly net revenue and balance sheet reporting.
  • Analyze and report financial information to stakeholders.
  • Develop knowledge of technical accounting and disclosures.
  • Build effective relationships with key stakeholders, including trading desks, control teams, operations, and legal entities.
You have:
  • An accounting and/or mathematical background.
  • Experience with derivatives (Equity, Commodity, Interest Rate, or Credit).
  • A strong understanding of controls.
  • A self-motivated personality with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Interest in learning booking models, systems, and market operations.
  • Experience working effectively with remote teams.
  • Strong communication skills.
