JOB SUMMARY

The Procurement Technology Services (PTS) Project Manager will drive ongoing enhancements and increased efficiency for Jabil’s Procurement Technology Services [external] business and Jabil’s Indirect Procurement [internal] organization. This person will partner with resources dedicated to developing and expanding Jabil’s Global Procurement & Supply Chain Services (external) and internal organization.

JOB SUMMARY

The Project Manager will lead assigned projects, support programs, and initiatives of medium to high complexity, applying project management expertise to support the company's and group's strategy within Jabil’s Global Indirect Procurement organization. Manage projects through all stages of the lifecycle, from concept to implementation, including developing service proposals, SOWs, business cases, project plans with milestones, onboarding suppliers and customers, resource tracking, and PO/Invoicing. Provide management and guidance to ensure successful collaboration with multi-functional groups and direct project teams responsible for external client services and internal organization. The resource will lead global internal and external client projects, which may require adjusting standard working hours to ensure successful delivery.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Internal Projects

  • Define clear goals and objectives within a project framework.
  • Establish and monitor project Key Performance Indicators, managing scope, quality, time, and cost constraints.
  • Support the solution team in developing mitigation plans for project risks.
  • Create project plans, track milestones, follow up on action items, and proactively raise risks.
  • Identify and manage project risks, supporting mitigation plans and tracking to closure.
  • Facilitate communication among stakeholders, escalating issues as needed.
  • Build and maintain key stakeholder relationships.
  • Facilitate communication and education for all involved parties.

External Client Services

  • Facilitate transition of closed services contracts between sales and delivery teams, ensuring all client information and commitments are known.
  • Gather and understand project requirements for proper execution.
  • Monitor staffing needs and forecast activities.
  • Ensure overall project success, including schedule, quality, and scope.
  • Manage client satisfaction and relationships as necessary.
  • Lead multi-functional teams to achieve client objectives.
  • Understand and exceed client expectations within contracted scope.
  • Create and track project plans, raising risks proactively.
  • Monitor deliverables and action items.
  • Provide regular updates to teams and stakeholders.
  • Identify gaps and develop proposals to mitigate risks.
  • Build strong relationships across teams and levels.
  • Handle sensitive information appropriately.
  • Support team structuring for performance, providing direction and motivation.
  • Mentor and coach team members and non-direct reports.
  • Adhere to safety, health, and security procedures.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS AND KNOWLEDGE

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

Bachelor’s degree in Business Management or equivalent.
3-5 years in Professional Service/Consulting within Indirect Procurement.
5-8 years in project management within Indirect Procurement.
Coupa, Digital Adoption Platform certifications preferred.
PMP certification required.
Equivalent education, experience, or training acceptable.
Decision-making ability in challenging situations, ownership, and responsibility.

REASONING ABILITY

Strong problem-solving, analytical, negotiation, and project management skills. Ability to define problems, analyze data, and draw conclusions. Capable of solving practical problems with limited information and interpreting instructions in various formats.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Ability to work effectively under pressure with changing priorities and deadlines.

Office setting with typically low noise levels.
