Purpose

As Process Engineer Operations you are responsible for the implementation, control, and optimization of the industrial processes in our shorebase facility. You ensure that the production processes run efficiently and effectively, meeting safety, quality, and environmental standards. You work closely with other departments to enhance operational performance and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

• You design and develop process flow diagrams and piping and instrumentation diagrams.
• You conduct process simulations and risk assessments.
• You optimize and troubleshoot existing processes to improve efficiency and productivity.
• You collaborate with cross-functional teams including operations, maintenance, and quality assurance to resolve process issues.
• You ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• You develop and implement process control strategies and procedures.
• You prepare technical reports, specifications, and documentation for process design and operation.
• You provide technical support during commissioning and start-up of new equipment and processes.
• You participate in continuous improvement projects to enhance process performance and reliability.
• You train and mentor junior engineers and technical staff.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, or a related field.
• A Master’s degree is preferred.
• For Brazil: CREA active (Conselho Regional de Engenharia e Arquitetura
• (Architecture and Civil Engineering Regional Council)

Experience

• Experience in process engineering within the Oil & Gas industry.
• Proven experience with process design, optimization, and troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with industry standards and regulations (e.g., API, ASME, OSHA).
• Experience with process simulation software (e.g., HYSYS, Aspen Plus).
• Experience in Chemical industry possible, acting as process or production engineer.
• Project business focussed in process engineering
