Palo Alto Networks is seeking a client-facing Principal Consultant to lead reactive incident response engagements for a variety of customers. You will manage from scoping through remediation, delivering expert guidance to improve security posture.

The role requires hands-on host-based forensics on Windows, Linux, and Mac OS X, experience with tools like EnCase, FTK, Splunk, and a willingness to travel up to 20%. Strong communication with clients and mentors to junior staff are essential.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree with 8+ years of experience, or Master's with 6+ years, or PhD with 3+ years in Information Security, Computer Science, Digital Forensics, or a related field.
• Must speak English and Spanish, Portuguese is a plus.
• Direct experience in incident response or digital forensics consulting.
• Proficiency with host-based forensics and data breach response methodologies.
• Hands-on experience with forensic tools such as EnCase, FTK, X-Ways, SIFT, Splunk, Redline, Volatility, or WireShark.
• Ability to travel as needed, averaging up to 20%.

Job Summary

As a client-facing Principal Consultant, you will lead and produce deliverables for reactive services engagements. You will work directly with a variety of customers and key stakeholders to manage incident response engagements from start to finish, providing expert guidance on immediate containment and long-term remediation to enhance their security posture.

• Established credibility in the cybersecurity community through public speaking, conference presentations, or publications.
• Excellent executive presence and communication skills.
