What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Pre-register scheduled patients for Hospital and Clinic services by obtaining key data elements via phone or electronic communication
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of patient information, including insurance details and demographics
- Assist with the enrollment and activation process for MyChart, facilitating patient communication with healthcare providers
- Collaborate with various departments to minimize patient wait times and ensure a seamless check-in process
- Document details from insurance representatives, including benefits and authorization information

What is Required (Qualifications):
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- One (1) year of work experience in a healthcare patient access setting preferred
- One year of customer service experience preferred
- Working knowledge of medical terminology
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with general office equipment
- Ability to adapt to multiple platforms, programs, and systems
- Demonstrated critical thinking skills and problem-solving abilities
- Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial healthcare plans
