Let's start with the role:

If you are a soccer enthusiast with a passion for Brazilian and other leagues, and you enjoy being in the spotlight of the action by offering betting odds for this market, then this is the right opportunity for you to join our expanding Pre-Event Trading Team at Kaizen Gaming.

The position is within the Pre-Event Sports team, contributing to delivering a high-caliber customized betting offer and a best-in-class user experience for our customers.

As a Pre-Event Trader, you will:

1. Trade betting events for soccer; monitor and manage liabilities to ensure risk is mitigated;
2. Compile odds and own pre-event pricing on assigned football leagues;
3. Create and monitor betting markets and assist in controlling risk to achieve optimal pre-event margins;
4. Create and manage additional markets based on sophisticated customer demands;
5. Monitor and analyze customer activity, reporting to the Sportsbook Integrity team;
6. Deliver outstanding service to internal and external customers and meet departmental KPIs;
7. Adhere to departmental SLAs, liaise with different departments, and assist with sportsbook-related queries;
8. Assist in improving and developing trading tools.

What you’ll bring:

1. Previous experience in an Odds compiling or Trading role;
2. A sports enthusiast with a strong data and customer-focused mindset, and drive to succeed in a fast-paced environment;
3. Good knowledge and genuine interest in different soccer leagues worldwide;
4. Strong quantitative and analytical skills with knowledge of core sports statistics;
5. Proficiency in MS Office programs, particularly MS Excel;
6. Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal;
7. Attention to detail and ability to make quick, well-informed decisions;
8. Self-organized, target-driven, and a team player;
9. Willing to work flexible shifts aligned with business and sports calendars.
