Summary

The PowerBI Engineer plays a crucial role in interpreting data, analyzing results using statistical techniques, and providing ongoing reports. This role will ensure the availability of actionable insights for decision-making across the organization by designing and developing interactive dashboards and reports within Power BI.

Who You are:

1. You have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
2. You possess 3+ years of experience as a Power BI Engineer or in a similar role.
3. You are proficient in using Power BI, with strong knowledge of Power Query, DAX, and Data Modeling.
4. You have experience with data visualization best practices, ensuring clarity and effectiveness of reports and dashboards.
5. You are knowledgeable in SQL and have experience working with relational databases.
6. You have understanding of ETL processes and data warehousing.
7. You have strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information accurately.
8. You have excellent communication skills that allow you to articulate findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
9. You are comfortable working in a fast-paced, Agile environment.

Nice to Have:

1. Experience with Azure services for data storage and processing.
2. Familiarity with Python or R for advanced data analysis.
3. Previous experience in consulting or a digital agency environment.
4. Relevant Power BI certifications.
