The role involves designing and maintaining dashboards and reports while collaborating with cross-functional teams. We are seeking a Power BI Report Developer with strong experience in Databricks to design, build, and optimize high‑impact analytics solutions. As a valued member of Oowlish, you will develop interactive dashboards and data visualizations that transform complex data into actionable insights for business decision‑makers. You will collaborate closely with cross‑functional teams, including data engineering, analytics, and operations, to ensure data accuracy, performance, and scalability.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports to deliver actionable business insights
• Utilize Databricks for data ingestion, transformation, and notebook‑based analytics workflows
• Connect Power BI to large‑scale data environments such as Azure Synapse, Data Lake, and Databricks
• Build efficient SQL queries and implement optimized data models
• Ensure data quality, consistency, and performance across reporting solutions
• Support ETL development and data validation efforts as needed
• Stay updated with emerging BI and cloud technologies to continuously improve reporting capabilities

Must Have

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or related field
• 3+ years of experience developing reports and dashboards using Power BI
• Hands‑on experience with Databricks (data ingestion, transformation, notebooks, and queries)
• Strong knowledge of SQL, data modeling, and ETL processes
• Experience integrating Power BI with enterprise‑scale cloud data environments such as Azure Synapse, Data Lake, and Databricks

Nice to Have

• Experience with Azure Data Factory or other ETL orchestration tools
• Familiarity with Python or PySpark within Databricks
• Understanding of data governance and security best practices in cloud environments
