Political Analyst - Central and South American Affairs

TNGO is excited to launch a new call for a Political Analyst to join our Central and South American Affairs team (voluntary; remote). Applications will be considered on a rolling basis until the call closes: apply today!

Responsibilities

  • Analysis of contemporary political phenomena
  • Contribution to 10 articles per year
  • Attendance of 1 team meeting per month
  • Cooperation in an international team of writers and editors

Required Qualifications

You should apply if you have/are:

  • Expertise in Latin American affairs
  • Proficiency in English; proficiency in Spanish, French, or Portuguese is a plus
  • University student (Bachelor, Masters, or PhD) OR recent graduate in International Affairs, History, Political Science, Economics, Social Sciences, or related field
  • Driven to join a young and nonprofit workspace
  • Open to multiculturalism
  • In line with TNGO’s values

The New Global Order ETS (TNGO) is an independent, international, and non-profit think tank based in Rome, Italy. Founded in 2018, the organization aims to empower young and aspiring scholars and journalists to tackle disinformation on international affairs. Our unique approach to digital information, consisting of blending the reliability of academic peer review and the accessibility of journalistic reporting, focuses on transforming complex, sector-specific information into news for the general public.

TNGO operates in the pursuit of a more authentic and youth-driven paradigm of political journalism. Contrary to the brutalization of mass-media communication and news outlets, the organization produces peer-reviewed, anti-commercial, and thoroughly reliable editorial products.
