Mid-Level Web Software Engineer

We’re looking to expand our Poatek offices in Brazil with top talent eager to collaborate with international teams to deliver innovative solutions.

Location and Flexibility

This is a hybrid role, termed Work from Near (WFN). It requires working on-site at our São Paulo - SP or Porto Alegre - RS offices during the week, with flexibility for remote work on other days. This model fosters in-person innovation, collaboration, and connection with local and visiting team members from global offices.

The Opportunity

You will play a key role in creating user-friendly, accessible software that meets business needs. Working within an agile team, you'll contribute to design, estimation, and implementation of projects, while also refining processes, tools, and methodologies. You will manage complex technical projects and promote a positive team environment.

Job Responsibilities:

• Develop scalable, robust, and efficient software solutions prioritizing user experience and accessibility.
• Participate in project design and estimation, aligning with client needs and platform constraints.
• Use CI/CD tools to establish and manage deployment pipelines, improving release processes.
• Collaborate effectively with team members, clients, and stakeholders to resolve technical challenges and enhance development workflows.

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of web development experience.
• Experience setting up deployment pipelines with tools like Jenkins, CircleCI, and version control systems such as Git.
• Ability to work independently on semi-complex features and contribute to process improvements and tooling.
• Strong interpersonal skills, open-mindedness, and receptiveness to constructive feedback.

Bonus Points:

• Knowledge of automated test suites and debugging tools.
• Experience working in Agile teams and understanding MVP approaches, avoiding over-architecting.
