Overview

We are seeking a Platform Engineer Spec I (Data Quality Spec I) to join our Data Governance Management team. This role offers an opportunity for career growth and development.

Key Responsibilities

• Work within the Data Quality team at BDR, focusing on developing, evolving, and executing controls to monitor data quality for regulatory data.
• Perform data reconciliation between source systems and BDR, addressing discrepancies.
• Define and execute KPIs to assess data quality and completeness, and generate reports for the European Central Bank.
• Conduct accounting reconciliation of databases used in regulatory capital calculations, diagnosing differences, and implementing corrective actions.
• Respond to recommendations from the European Central Bank, audits, and internal validations.
• Create presentations on data quality KPIs for BDR in relevant forums.

Minimum Requirements

• Proficiency in programming, preferably SAS/SQL and/or Python
• Knowledge of databases

• Knowledge of credit risk (desirable)
• Basic understanding of Basel II regulations (desirable)
