We are looking for a Plant Technician to join our Marine team in Brazil, preferably in Rio de Janeiro/RJ. As a Plant Technician, you will be part of the Operation and Maintenance team responsible for the main power generation of FPSO 3R-3, providing services such as repair and maintenance of large power generation equipment components and troubleshooting for our customers, ensuring profitability, adherence to Wärtsilä's global policies, HSE, and quality guidelines, and accurate reporting.
A typical shift begins with a safety dialogue with the team to discuss performance, work schedule, safety, quality issues, and goals. You will perform a checklist of equipment to ensure operational integrity, supervise motor and auxiliary parameters, and conduct a detailed handover at shift end for the incoming team.
The Plant Technician reports to the Shift Supervisor during shifts and to the Line Manager otherwise. The role requires availability to work in shifts, weekends, offshore vessels, and travel for job rotation. Mandatory training and development courses will be provided to enhance skills and career growth.
