We are looking for a Plant Technician to join our Marine team in Brazil, ideally in Rio de Janeiro/RJ. As a Plant Technician, you will be part of the Operation and Maintenance team for engines, responsible for the main power generation of FPSO 3R-3 to provide specific services (repair and maintenance of components of large power generation equipment and excellent problem-solving for our customers) profitably, in accordance with Wärtsilä's global policies and processes, HSE and quality guidelines, and ensuring reporting accuracy.
A typical shift in this position starts with you participating in a daily safety dialogue with the rest of the team to talk about the need for AMAZING PERFORMANCE, work schedule, safety, quality issues, and goals. A complete checklist of equipment must be carried out at the beginning of each shift, ensuring operational integrity as a whole. All motor and auxiliary parameters must be supervised at all times. At the end of the shift, the handover must be carried out in detail for the operators who will take over the work.
The Plant Technician reports to the Shift Supervisor during the boarding period and to the Line Manager in case of other needs. The position requires availability to work in shifts, weekends, offshore vessels, or in case of necessity travel to other places as part of Job Rotation. There will also be mandatory training for better mastery of activities, and opportunities for development courses offered by Wärtsilä to boost careers and increase excellence in activities.
